Wow, thanks. I used to have a site that nobody ever looked at, so I let the subscription die and now I have a poorly-edited and infrequently updated Flickr here - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gacetillero/
I wish there were some kind of integrated social/blog/portfolio platform - self-hosting means you never get random traffic, but I can't update frequently enough to sustain a river-of-content style blog that most of the social media platforms seem to want. Maybe I've just not found it yet...
