isn't the fork fucked? if you cut off all the cracked section then there would be nothing sticking out above the head tube to clamp to?
where is that spoke card that Don did?

Ah man. Literally almost pulled the button on that whilst it was on the bay. Sorry to hear about the fork though, that's bad chat from the seller. So tempted to go for the frame ;)

yep the fork is basically fucked for use with frame, thought someone might want it anyway/ buy it then cut it and sell it on or something... either way it won't fit any of my bikes anymore

don and pisti lived together, had a falling out over council tax and cat food bills and now don't get along
its a bit of a long story
Hello,
i bought this very recently to buildup for use at the track, but I've since decided i don't actually need a track bike so back up for sale it goes…--->
Don Walker custom reynolds 853 track frame, chris king headset, and cracked alpha q full carbon track fork
for those who don't know don walker is a veteran american frame builder and founder of the North American Handbuilt Bike Show

55cm x 55cm
intergated seattube 67cm c-t
27.2 seatpost
'patriot' chris king headset
alpha q gs 40 ful carbon track fork - this has a crack in the top of the steerer which the seller didn't mention to me - where it looks like the previous owner over tightened the steerer bung. the forks steerer is about 22.5cm long and the crack is the top 4cm of that, leaving about 18cm healthy (i think)
the frame is in very good condition, there a few paint chips which have touched up, and a couple that havent, no dents/dings/cracks
this is the nicest frame I've owned by a mile, and i would probably have kept it if the fork wasn't damaged, but its too nice to build up for work so ------> bye
so - - - - for frame only i'd like £300, frame and headset £360, and frame fork and headset £380
collection in brixton or postage at cost
