I once did the whole South Downs way on a Dawes Audax Supreme, a lovely reynolds 653 frame with a compact road group. also used the bike for fairly heavy touring, and with light wheels on it was lovely and quick on the road. Best all-round bike I've had, it was nicked 7 years ago, still miss it :(

54cm but top tube is long ;). I use a bagman and bar bag so plenty of luggage options. Just want those grippy tyres for bridle paths, muddy lanes and fields as I'm looking to do some rides over the south downs this summer plus explore the wilds of Essex, Suffolk and further afield. Heading out into Essex now after recently purchasing Lost Lanes. First kingpin ride in 6 months. Woo!

That's lovely. Pretty much exactly what I'm looking for.

Easily the nicest LHT I've seen.

Ribble Audax won't do 25mm and SKS chromoplastics. Not sure if you'd manage 28s with no guards.
Kinesis 4S/TK3 would do 28c I believe, best check though. 4S disc definitely will.

Dam, the Pizza Rack doesn't fit on the all city nature boy disc
Anyone got any ideas of how to extend it somehow / make it work?
The rack is designed for mid fork eyelets and I was hoping because the all citys are a bit higher up it would work.. but theres still a few cms in it, even with the triangles on the rack fully rotated..
Yes! What size is it ;)
You can definitely tour on the Clubman, even light camping. I toured on a totally inappropriate carbon road bike. If you're not already doing the weekend touring, then start and then work out what about the Clubman is inappropriate. Then work out how many times you're being prevented from going off road.
