Yeah, still seems silly to buy and cut up a new one when there's probably loads of busted ones lying around in parts bins.
Still torn about whether I should continue running the single ring. Most other things that give me this much grief would've been long gone.

I've actually bought bigger DA9000 rings so will likely be running a standard double Di2 setup again - no point being more aero if it means you're sat by the side of the road..
