How about burnt bronze like the 2015 croix de fer.
Inspired by your green croix de fer I decided to build some 650b wheels for my own. Previously I was running with Compass Barlow pass 700x38mm tyres (great tyres btw) but now have 650Bx42mm Panaracer Gravel King tyres for even more comfort. Took it off road toady and it handled really well. One of the benefits of 650b is I no longer have any toe overlap issues. Reckon I could fit a 650Bx48mm compass tyres too. Looking forward to riding the trans pennine trail on it in May.

Bike's now with the LBS who have done me a damage report. That combined with replacing my clothing sees a tidy £1100 worth of damage :(
Front wheel is pringled, amongst plenty of other damage. Frame's straight though, I am glad of the gusseted downtube.
Have filed a claim with Bikmo, so let's see what falls out of that. And as the doc wants me off the bike for at least 2 months, it isn't coming to Japan :(
I'm thinking about stripping and recoating - there's a few rust spots in the powdercoat, and signs of the beginnings of rust inside the frame - orange water dribbles out when it's moved around. I think it'd be prudent to use framesaver as I intend to have this bike as a daily/tourer for some time.
I do quite like the green, but it'd be silly not to consider other options. It's quite a utilitarian looking bike with the parts/build, and exposed welds etc, so I think "nice" or lighter/more delicate colours might not have quite the right vibe.
Ideas very much welcomed :)
