  • I once did the whole South Downs way on a Dawes Audax Supreme, a lovely reynolds 653 frame with a compact road group. also used the bike for fairly heavy touring, and with light wheels on it was lovely and quick on the road. Best all-round bike I've had, it was nicked 7 years ago, still miss it :(

  • 54cm but top tube is long ;). I use a bagman and bar bag so plenty of luggage options. Just want those grippy tyres for bridle paths, muddy lanes and fields as I'm looking to do some rides over the south downs this summer plus explore the wilds of Essex, Suffolk and further afield. Heading out into Essex now after recently purchasing Lost Lanes. First kingpin ride in 6 months. Woo!
