and something i could order would be nice. it also looks like those tires are around 40 pounds each which is over double of what i would be willing to spend. (for this thing i'd prefer a 5 pound of a 10 pound tire)

Not as cheap as you'd like, but certainly not £40.
I'm not in UK, I'm sure you could find cheaper.
