Bit of both ! You see these sometimes for peanuts , but a proper service by a specialist will be expensive . Even if you were to sell for a few hundred quid , what would you be able to buy that was as nice as it .

That's exactly how I feel about my late 60s gold Seamaster 600. I keep thinking about selling it but then always seem to realise that I won't be able to buy anything nicer for the money and it is really quite a lovely watch.
Why so? Appreciating or not worth selling?!
@BeauNidle I don't even know if solid... I seem to remember being told it was solid 18K when I was given it, but not certain...
