I was there for the sprint. Under strict instruction from my DS I was told to not take advantage of any structural problems with the race layout (sponsors tie-in conflict) but in the end it didn't matter as it turns out half the breakaway group were feigning fatigue so by the final 500m when the three 'passengers' finally went I was cooked. One didn't have the legs to contest the final 100m - it was enough bike lengths to just say he simply rolled in for 3rd place.
