Seriously? I'm not sure why you think hijacking old threads to sell something you need to get rid of of, even better, something you're making, but it genuinely isn't.
If you're selling second-hand then start a new thread.
If you're making something for sale, definitely set up a new thread to show people what you're making and to answer questions/take orders.
By dredging up old threads you're more likely to get people contacting the original seller asking if they're still selling than getting people to contact you about what you're selling. That's just a daft move.
