No photo for me.
Looked at the list of cars that I own, and figured out the ones I have inherited and the ones I have bought to do something with, be it restore or modify, and the ones I actually run and the ones that I sort of owns.. At least I no longer own a bus.
Lets not forget bits I inherited and other bits that I wanted, wonder how many sets of fiat brake shoes I have, panels of cars that I bought for cars that I want...the plans that I made and now seem a bit pointless as the person I made the plans with is not here.

Actually has it had the IMS bearing upgraded? All the scare stories are putting me off a 996 or 986 at the moment :(
-
• #27467
If you actually want to buy it let me know.
The IMS is the original, and appears to be fine. It's done 70k with no problems, which I am told is well beyond the age that IMS problems manifest.

What is annoying is that it needs a new sidelight bulb about a week before the MoT is due and I can't work out how to get the Litronic coil pack off the headlight without breaking it

Nice! Great stopping power, i bet it gets shell twist on hard breaking!
I had a 500 abarth replica that would do 105 mot kms either. This i sold last year. Many tuning parts, Lavasa Exhaust, 45/85 cam or something crazy like that, panda 30 head with 2 mm skim, 700 cc pots, disc brakes. Abarth sump, wheels and a weber dcoe to go with it.

I really rate it. For a big V8 it loves to be revved and above 4,500 revs is when it starts to really impress. Grip is also phenomenal, out of a wet/leafy junction it'll tear off with very little drama. The car sounds brilliant from outside but is surprisingly quiet from the inside.
I suspect mine is down a fair bit on the factory bhp. The rs4 engines have a tendency to build up carbon deposits. Mine is actually going in next week to be carbon cleaned and dyno'd.

It's just a 220 petrol. 68,000 miles on the clock. All matching numbers and largely original throughout, but it does like to rust a bit. Its a lovely thing to waft around in though.
Name this car:
I have no idea, spotted it near De Beauvoir yesterday - Reliant? Johnny Cab?
