When I moved to Green Lanes on the first day I saw someone get booted whilst on the floor from about half a dozen people in the Queen's Head pub. Shortly after that I saw someone fighting a bus (cracked the windscreen with a flying headbutt, saw him the next day with a hugely bruised face).
It now has a variety of organic stores, bars, coffee shop/musical instrument shop ...
