I accidentally rode through Knightsbridge yesterday, going through the arse bleedingly expensive Eaton Square too. The whole place is a dump, really. Really busy roads, no space or light, no shops that make any sense at all, and loads of gigantic twatty cars parked everywhere. The only green space you've got is the Royal Parks, and they're chock full of people taking pictures of pigeons.
