I am worried about the rising trend in careless driving and phone use, yesterday in the space of ten minutes, I saw three instances of driver talking into mobiles whilst (badly) negotiating junctions/roundabouts.These were all HGV or large commercial vehicles.
that was just ten minutes of two hours, where I saw many more, but those 3 stuck because of the incredible cuntishness of it all.
Thank god there's a law enforcement unit that specifically tackles these offences…
…DOH!

I actually gave the thumbs up to a guy on my commute because he was pulled into a layby with the engine off for a phone call.
Once bitten, twice shy.

Could you actually use one of them on the road, if fitted with rubber tracks?
I don't think the design for the jersey works at all. The 'I pay road tax' bit is too small and subtle, that should be the main bit with a smaller tax disc. Yes it's technically called VED or whatever but if it's aimed at drivers you need to speak to them in a language the understand and VED sounds like something you'd get tested for at the clap clinic...
But yes it just seems smug and a bit aggravational really.

I'm with Jack on this one. To me it's antagonist and really only serves to increase any perception of cyclist as smug wankers.

• #133
Well, quinn you have a bicycle one, a free on is easily available if you google image it.
-
• #134
PS dont make them too good as you can be done for a fake disc.

I don't pay excise duty on cigarettes because I don't smoke. Does this make me a bad person?
Rob Ainsley in his 'Real Cycling' blog takes Clive's very good line and runs with it... in a decent post that sums up much of the good stuff that's been said on this here thread
worth reading even if you're bored of this road tax nonsese. which I am. goodbye

They'll have to be redesigned with a direct debit mandate form over a display of some sequel coding.
