I wouldn't say his tenure at united was a disaster, especially given that LVG hasn't done any better there despite his palmares. Whoever took that job after Ferguson was fucked. Spain was never going to go well for an old fashioned English manager either.
He's exactly the kind of "get the basics right" manager I would want if my club was in a similar state. That squad needs a blast of the hairdryer.
Well, he's just had two disasters and was never renowned as having the most progressive training methods. I think he may well be getting to the past-it stage. I'd be seriously worried he'll give the sack-of-shite wasters in our squad with 'premiership experience' another chance rather than shipping out the lot of them.
Apparently he's said he'd be interested so it may be on. But I'm sure we'll end up with Pearson or McCarthy instead. Or Schteve. We're so fucked.
