It looks more like ISO than JIS (JIS doesn't have this sharper edge near the middle)
Depends on the manufacturer's method of forming the taper and on the diameter of the round part, not on whether it's JIS or ISO. The illustrations on Sheldon Brown are just samples, not indicative of a general difference between JIS and ISO axles.
Either way it doesn't fecking fit. I sold it on ebay, messaged seller...as they may run into problems. If they don't want it, I'll give it a proper analysis and then we know once and for all ;)
