the internet tells me this is the same man responsible for bringing that fascist arsehole frank miller's 300 to the screen amongst sundry other dross, so in answer to your question - probably not, no.

Imdb reveals the producer was Deborah Snyder.... so his wife is funding these vanity projects? Or at least feeding his ego.
