Just get a seiko skx and then go from there, its the perfect first automatic.

I'd go Seiko as well. You won't be able to beat it for price / quality. But if you like the military look the Seiko 5 are probably a better range.

Im novice when it comes to watches, looking to treat myself to one. Im no where in the league of some of the budgets on here looking at £200 - £250. I Like the military styles but open to other suggestions, can anyone point me in the right direction. Looking on Ebay and such its a minefield of duff knock offs.
