He's suffering from the same issue Sean Kelly had back in the day, his wages are so high that the team can't afford riders who can be with him at the business end of a monument. He will win a monument in his career, but I don't think it'll be this year. It'll be interesting to see where he goes for next season.
That said, there are a lot of good cobbled classic riders out of contract at the end of this year. It could be a buyers market.

A quick glance over their roster and there really isn't a lot of strength for the classics.
The obligatory comment would be to say he'd be great on Etixx, however as we've seen a few times strength in numbers for them does not equal wins.
I think he'll get in a small break at Flanders or Roubaix where everyone is being marked equally (as a couple of years ago where there was a five man group(?) with him, Fabs, Stybar et al(?)) and then anything can, and probably will happen.
Sagan WILL win a Monument in the next three weeks. Roubaix or Flanders. If I was a betting man I'd put money on it.
(However, I'm not because my predictions are normally horrible.)
