Another Gentian? ;) Not too wide. Just under 1oocm wide, so goes through everywhere.
Not like a normal bike that skips through traffic, but works really well. Haven't had a lot of situations where I really could not pass through. -

Skully, that looks like a good solution is it possible for me to have a look at it

Sure, he's called Dave, he lives round my way somewhere. You need one for ladders?

Can anyone identify that front wheel ? Please.

The wheel is almost certainly a Spin.
Not sure that the disc mount is factory though. Could it be a rear with a screw on disc mount?

Hello All, After some ideas / advice.
I have just bought a 2nd hand Bullitt and fancy fitting it with a custom timber base & sides rather than the Bullitt kit. Just toying with options in terms of ply type, water resistant, how thick (6mm to thin? - obvioulsy conscious of weight).
Anyone have past experience / wise words?
Thanks -

If you're doing ply, go baltic birch for sure.

Awesome... but how does it turn?
-

hub steering
-
• #892
just don't lean

I still like that format the best, though it's the only one I've tried.
Heavy load down low in the middle, it makes sense to me. -

The hubs steering is clever, but no way to put a dynamo hubs on it?
-
• #897
might be possible but is it necessary?
anyway, wonder what's the turning circle on these? -
• #898
that is a lot of fuckery when you could just use a regular fork
-
• #899
Imagine fitting a fork on these two bikes.... It would be quite an effort and would lead to a bigger frame, a heavier frame+fork, a compromised cargo space, the addition of a large steering linkage.
I can understand them choosing for a more complex but light and compact solution.

Dat spoke bend doe
Many years ago I there was a chap on TV (I think it was the programme "Natiowide") with a "bicycle" capable of carrying sofas. I think it had four wheels. The rider sat to one side and there was a very large load area next to him. Anyone remember this? He was convinced at the time that we would all be using them for local deliveries.
