What is so good about deep dish? All my bikes use minimum dish wheels (apart from a Brompton which is green) and I am very happy.
The problem with deep dish is that it is less aerodynamic and harder for the rider to stay balanced as the weight is all on one side. Aslo in high wind or accident the deep dish can become antishided and then you're totally stuck.
