Our plan is to move out West in about 5 years time - probably South Gloucestershire, as that strikes a good balance between distance to ageing parents, family, availability of work, and town & country living (she's a little bit town, I'm a little bit country).
Staying in town just isn't affordable if we want a bigger house and not be tied to a huge mortgage, and by association, jobs that we don't love.
