Bar end brakes? Pros and cons.

Hi,
Building a single speed atm and I wondered what your opinions were of bull horns with bar end brakes?

Imo Really depends on your kind of riding: what position are you most on the bars (horns, flats...) and how likely are you gonna be needing to brake on each position

I've got bar end brakes and bullhorns (well... pursuit bars) on my fixed. I much, much prefer them. I find it gives me a really comfortable riding position - I felt too cramped when I had them on the tops.

Plus if I'm going at any speed I'm likely to be on the horns, and that's when I reckon I most need the brakes. As it's fixed, I've got that to fall back on when I'm on the tops.
