  • I like the look of that - tidy little bike.

  • I was told 3-4 weeks lead time. Paid with bank transfer yesterday, we'll see how long they take!

  • Fingers crossed for you ! Have been tempted by an Aeroad, but they're quoting June for the red Ultegra Di2 version in my size

  • Got a suprise email from Canyon yesterday saying that it will be delivered today, one week before estimated shipping date. It seems that they are finally starting to get their shit together. UPS delivered it to my work this morning. What a beauty. Had a quick spin around the block, such a sick ride! mind = blown

Will snap some better pictures of it this weekend hopefully.

  • Had one for 15 months. Great bike, and no problem keeping up on club rides etc., it's very capable.
And mine with silly wheels on...

  • deep carbon and mudguards is the vibe!

  • Sexeh! Did you get mudguards included with yours? I was told that they are out of stock until may.

  • @MechaMorgan
Only wheelset I have for it, and it's not like the rims will wear out with discs, so may as well do deep crabon all year round.

@palisse Mudguards came with the bike, but I did have the standard Canyon 2 month delay, which was in part down to SKS taking a while to supply the guards. Bit annoying as I ordered the thing a day or two after it was announced.

  • Last question about the guards - are they the Velo 42 model? Since they are out of stock I'm looking to get them somewhere else.

  • So like, how long do I have to save up for when Canyon starts selling bikes with sram etap?

  • Rose has one already

    €5,999

  • I thought we were talking about Canyons, is this some kind of in-joke?

  • Rose has one already

    Link?

    ^^^ ^^^^

  • I've gotta say, I see a lot of similarity between Rose and Canyon shapes. Seatpost cluster, seatstay design and the general philosophy are very close. I'd happily switch to Rose despite loving my Canyons.

  • I do feel that the finishing and decal on the Rose isnt to my liking. But I have yet to see a Rose bike the flesh.

  • It'll be interesting to see if they wait to produce a frame without internal gear routings before using etap.

  • Here's my 2013 Inflite Al, size XL. It used to be my most functional bike with fenders and ortlieb handlebar bag, but as I now have a more functional Wolverine I took those off. Got rid of the inner tubes too :)

  • Just got my second replacement back from Canyon, 2 month turnaround. If it goes again I'm asking for a refund and buying a Ritchey Road Logic for its bombproofness.

  • That looks horrid, the white proto looks amazing. Why don't they do more white bikes!?

  • I think there trend is white bikes is purely for prototypes than for production.

  • agreed. red thing i largely underwhelming. glad i went for the caaddisc instead of waiting

  • I'm selling my Ultimate CF SL is anyone doesn't fancy waiting for Canyon!
