Well G3 is fugly, so there's that.
The extra seals are worth the extra though.

About to purchase a set of Campagnolo Khamsin wheels - is there any advantage to the G3 lacing pattern which is about £12 more? Is it significantly stronger / stiffer or just for show? They are both asymmetric rims, but is one easier to true than the other (or is this strictly a shop job)?
Also considering at the CX version for the seals as they will be used on a year round commuting bike..
