23mm
Still the standard tyre width in the Peleton-- and for good reason.
Betamax
Might as well add the Video2000 consortium... and keep in mind that the technically inferior format that got the most in demand content (Pornos of which Max Grundig refused to allow) won: VHS.
(but again who needed good quality to look at carbuncles).
All now obsolete-- just as DVDs-- by video-on-demand (Netflix etc.). Blockbuster might have had 9000 stores in 2004 but... Sure there are still a handfull of DVD/Video etc. shops still around but at this point in the game it's easier to find vinyl LPs save those DVDs at the supermarket of 6 month old film releases..Mini Disc
Leaving off the poor timing.. It failings was the increasing taste for compressed dynamic range (MP3) amongst it target customers that killed it.. at the other end it was not good enough to compete with hard-drive (and later Flashdisc) recorders for quality..
I've got myself a set of 38mm crabons with a 17.5mm internal rim diameter. Got some 25 mm GP4000s on there atm and they are coming up at about 27mm. They are a little worn and I'm looking to replace - should I go 23 (is there an aero gain?) or 25mm (assume more comfortable)?
I assume it doesn't matter as I won't notice any aero difference.
