Thanks.
What about these Challenge Vulcano's? These seem absolutely perfect but I can't seem to find anyone that sells the tan sidewall version.
http://www.challengetech.it/products/road/vulcano-007/10905/enI may just bite the bullet and opt for the Veloflex Roubaix.
Yeah, the Gatorskin Sprints are perfect...just wish they came in different colors.
Vittoria Rally and Conti Giros are awful, and suspect they're more or less the same tyre. Lumpy around the valve with no puncture protection.
Even though the more expensive gumwall tubulars from Vittoria, Challenge, Veloflex etc are much nicer, they're still fragile. I was getting <500miles on City streets from 320tpi Vittoria Corsa Evo CX before they where cut to shreds.
I strongly suggest ditching the gumwall idea. Conti Sprinter tubulars are fine for city streets and are reasonably priced. Cheaper is the Schwalbe Lugano, but I've not tried those.
If you absolutely must have gumwalls cheaply, I suggest adding sealant and keeping your fingers crossed.
