I run a disc in the rear with tubs and a regular wheel in the front with clinchers.
I've decided to go gumwalls/tanwalls and stick to a 25mm-ish if possible.
I've seen so many mixed reviews of Vittoria Rally tubulars. Some people hate them, some say they are a decent training tubular. Should I stay away? It seems the Rally's are the only inexpensive 25mm gumwall choice. The other option is the Conti Giro in a 23mm. Anything else I'm missing?
Now is there is an inexpensive equivalent in a clincher for my front? Again...25mm and gum/tan wall. Seems the cheapest is the Vittoria Corsa G for around $50 from Ribbles.
Last question...is the tan stripe colour on the Vittoria Rally tubular the same tan as on the Vittoria Corsa? The Corsa's look almost white-ish tan in pics.
This is just a street bike and I'm not about spending 100s on tires.
Thanks
