Good day out on the Dean yesterday. Fifth time i've done it and still just about my favourite ride in the south of England.
A bit chilly but only mild drizzle. Made the surface a bit greasy. I lost my back wheel for a second on a roundabout but stayed on. Later heard that one guy did come off there and at least two others elsewhere.
My power was down from last year but I was round an hour quicker! Could be the new aerobars I put on the other week. Can't think what else it could be. Whatever, it was great to see the last section into Oxford in daylight for the first time.
