Change of heart with my initial plans. new plan will be,

sell the alpina wing seatpost, replace it with a nitto seatpost;

Stem is a bit tricky, it's 1" threadless so I will have to use a shim to accommodate 1 1/8 which wont be a problem at all, but quill stems looks so nice on this. Any opinions? Stick with threadless or thread the steerer? If sticking with threadless, i'll be getting something silver, either 10 or 17 degrees with road drops.

Going for some black sugino 75's and silver sugino zen ring. Always liked 48T so will so with that, 19t for the streets and maybe between 13-15 for track? Will be getting those EAI cogs.

Wheels, i will be using my low profile when i roll down the streets of london to brag as everybody does, and get some nice chinese carbon clinchers , any advice on this? I might be lacing them to either suzue pro hubs, 7600's, or 7710's. Not going tubs as most of my wheels in my possesion are clinchers.

Pedals will be speedplay, been using speedplays for 3 months now and I really love them. straps maybe for some casual riding.

I have some 7600 X 50mm crabon clinchers I might be parting with.

Salsa 1inch threadless stems maybe an option? then can be found cheap enough in the states and black stem could work well with a black s65 seatpost. Link Link

@Dry 's wheel would suit this perfect I think, but then again the low pro looks much classier. I also recommend the nitto m106 nas as they are light and very stiff. Plus nitto so extra hhsb points.

Yeh, that salsa is a tad long. Currently have grammo on which doesnt look bad as it makes it look natural with the bulky size of the frame. Will be getting something with a bit of a positive rise.

So, this is what i got to this weekend

Shimano olympic zen chainset with seatpost and 7600 on chinese carbon rims, and EAI cog. Seatpost is fading but it'll do. Will be getting some Sugino 75 DD's come payday. will be getting some nicer pics when it's fully built up

Had problems taking the square taper BB off that came with the frame so had to take it to LBS to get it off.. Still considering threading the steerer so I can use quills. Grammo looks good though! Saddle might be the trusty old selle italia flite or an SMP.

I like the old school style of the grammo. Sweet build man.

Yeh, kinda got the same feeling, been looking around on a stem I can use that wont look out of place with a positive rise but it doesnt seem easy. Nothing looks good and every single carbon bridgestone i've seen has quills. Been asking around about threading the steerer and was told not to do it as i wont be able to change it back unless I get the steerer extended again.

Threading the forks sounds very long. Maybe cinelli alters and compacts? not positive rise but could work if you do some yoga or something..

Will be cut then threaded so the steerer will be cut short to flush with the threaded headset. Saw the cinelli alters but not sure if it'll fit with how the rest looks. Might try it out as got somebody with some alters.
Yeh, looking for some compacts as well, just using these as it's the only one I have readily available at 26.0. Some generic silver drops. Hoping for some bars like the one you have on your maziora
