Can you provide evidence of your assertion that he stood at the side of the road for 30 seconds? He was up and away quickly from what I can remember, quicker than Matthews.
There's still no evidence of him getting a tow, he admits he drafted, he probably got a sticky bottle, but this hysteria about him being DQ'd for a tow has no evidence to support it.

Just because everyone does it doesn't excuse it. He was standing around at the side of the road considering abandoning for half a minute until his DS 'persuaded' him to continue. Magic spanner is one thing, it's another to get a tow up a hill. Wasn't there complaints from other riders recently after Bouhanni was pushed up a climb by his teammates and then went on to win the race? Same difference
