Chelsea have gone from being champions to winning nothing. Your messianic manager was binned because the players refused to play for him and now there's no chance of European football, which will ensure that your "old guard" are quietly and carefully shelved for fresher blood.
I'd say that you've had your time and move along for teams who play entertaining football and keep the PL exciting.
