• Cheers, guys. I hear what you're saying, but I've decided to write the bars off and put it down to experience. I've ordered Zipp Vukas to replace them.

    I can live with losing the drop on the bullhorns, and the smoother lines that come from not having a clamp on the bar. I've spent too much time fretting over this already, and this way I won't find myself doing 30-odd mph on a dual carriageway, on a fixed wheel, wondering if that really was a crack in the paint.

    I'm wondering if my arm pad move to avoid the pads flexing is faster or slower. Too lazy to test it so might find out on Friday. Racing is literally testing.
