That's not true. Several drivers have been convicted of murder in the last few years for, well, murdering bike riders who were not police officers.
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/driver-gets-life-term-for-cyclist-murder-1967407.html
This driver seems to have confessed:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire-35094901There was one more, too, I think. There are also several cases in other countries.
There are undoubtedly many cases in which drivers don't receive the sentence they deserve, but it's not true to say that 'justice' is only applied in cases involving police officers.

fair enough - poetic licence aside, there does seem to be a dgaf attitude from much of the gendarmes / CPS unless it relates to one of their own.
/i base this lazy presumption entirely on my own anecdata / poorly realised agenda etc.

Osborne's latest budget has not done him much good. His whole shtick is being economically responsible, but he can't even hit his own targets.
(apologies for linking to a partisan publication, it was the first thing that came up)
However the worse Osborne does, the more likely we are to get Bojo for PM...

Good.
mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/tory-zac-goldsmith-forced-out-7574364I got a letter in the post yesterday from this cunt with some wanky american scare tactic leaflet that was all sepia tone photos of corbyn and khan with a threat that they'll bankrupt me and I'll lose money with all the scary bits highlighted in red for danger.
he didn't actually have anything to say why he would be a better option, just that I should vote for him because the others are scary and clearly not to be trusted unlike he who resorts to childish fear-mongering attack politics to get what he wants because he's got about as much substance to him as a fart in the breeze.

Let's establish a modus vivendi. If anyone endorses a link they post - then fair play to criticise them. If someone links something because they think it's interesting - then let's debate the thing. Linking a thing because it's a way to start a conversation - let's accept that for what it is. Deal?
