  • 1st world problems...

  • Get a smaller front plate...

  • Are 10 year old Range Rover diesels good or bad ideas?

  • Smaller front plate and original ECU.

My car is in the shop again. Should be out in a couple of weeks feeling fresh.

  • Terrible. Get ready to be financially drained.

  • Your man @V-L knows all about Rangies too if you need some advice.

  • I'm going to say both :-)

  • Didn't Minky's blow up?

  • I spoke to a mate about his (really late p38) and he said he allows 7k a year to run it (petrol, tyres, insurance, etc). the diesels are apparently gutless.

no idea about the newer ones, but fuck me 7k a year is a ballbuster. ima wait and buy a c63, which will no doubt cost more to run. speaking of which, i am borrowing an estate to take to the goodwood mm this weekend.

  • I know a bloke, who knows a bloke who supplied the yellow P38 for Layer Cake. What a fucking dog that was...

  • Nah, Minkys one suddenly had the air suspension go whilst he was hooning it down the motorway. Instantly looked slammed. I've got a pic somewhere.

It then got fucked when his mum drove under it in her S2000.

I also remember his car alarm constantly going off at @Jung wedding. Due to Jon leaving his Filofax in there.

I think it's now sat in his mums garage.

There was also the time he drove @Spins and @PinkGottiMobbs to spain in it. Cost about a grand in petrol and the exhaust broke so everywhere they went there was noise.

I miss that boy. What a bellend.

  • According to Farcebook, he's almost always knee deep in side return footings.

    I miss his absurd accent.

  • Yeah saw him a few months back and he took me for a spin in his poo brown RS6. Which he made a point of telling me at every opportunity was the only one in that colour. And that he'd taken up vaping to keep his car values up.

He also dropped me off bang in the middle of the end austerity march in town, then left in a cloud of smoke and burning tires. In the middle of the march.

  • diesel bad, L322 V8 SC big grin!

  • 19mpg! Although to be fair I do less than 3k a year

  • Back in 2013 I went to Goodwood in the back of a c63 AMG.

    Oh the lozzles.

    #CSB

  • Innit tho! Such luxury, many plush leather, wow bills!

  • Did Minky have a P38 after the classic? I didn't think classics had the trick suspension.

Anyway all I know is Minky's mum definitely had an altercation with a Range Rover owned by Minky, unsure which one.

His RRC had a blueprinted race V8 which sounded insane and averaged about 5mpg. Didn't blow up as far as I'm aware, which is surprising since the state of tune it was apparently in suggested it might need Ferrari levels of rebuilds.

  • It kind of sound American muscle low down and F355 up top (maybe an exaggeration) which of course left you baffled as to where the noise was coming from because all you could see was a Range Rover Classic ready for the fucking scrappy

  • I've been in V-L's rorty old Rangy, badass

  • Ah the good Lord Minkelstein. Legend.

He's passed his motorcycle test I hear? Be afraid.... :)

  • I don't think we need to worry, he's never going to ride because you can't vape and ride a motorbike with a full face on

  • This was how it normally looked.
