That wasn't meant to be a 'lot of miles' boast, I'm aware that's not a whole lot, rather I was trying to give a figure to what I meant by "longer distances" I can see why you took it like that though.

Forget the bike and buy a lovely Gretsch USA custom snare instead...
otherwise, get a positive rise stem +6ยบ would be fine and then some nice wide wheels with some 28mm tyres. Even try some cheap swept back bars:
