I guess the other two shifter paddles would just do nothing? I'm assuming they're irremovable.

Or you could programme them to do the same thing as the other other two. Personally, I'm just going to use a hacked SW-R600 climber's switch (got it already, never used the climbing buttons) connected up to some Cateye switch buttons.
