  • This will achieve nothing, it wont be considerably lighter than your talbot, its a 3+ year old disc frame when no one had any idea about discs (read: cable routing saga). Its the price playing tricks on your mind. If you want a proper CURRENT road disc frame/bike get CAAD12 or Datum or something.

If you have made your mind up, compare stack and reach, I'd go 52 and slam vs 50 and spacers.

  • Meh .. still not much distance between bikes tbh. Nothing that Talbot cant do that this can. You will still have to spend serious money to make this light. Plus in the disc game its all about staying current.

  • Don't listen to @amey he's just jealous a.f at all these gangster caad10 disc builds!

The cable routing problem has been solved

Caad12 is ridiculous because of 25.4 / seat pin - and silly colours.

Do listen to the point about buying just because it's cheap though.... Very valid.

  • You might get similar weight on the disc CAAD10, unless you opt for some light wheels and brakeset.

FWIW my Saracen Avro is 8.9kg stock including pedals (now 8.6kg).
