Guidance on the length of the disqualification was given by the Court of Appeal in Re Sevenoaks Stationers (Retail) Ltd [1991] Ch 164 as follows:
10 years and above for particularly serious cases, such as where a second period of disqualification is appropriate or there is widespread fraud; -
Banned for 5 years after a jail sentence of 4?
Has the law changed? Last time I looked, he would effectively be banned for 1 year after a jail sentence of 4, or...
He'll serve 2
banned for 3 years, in that case.
I may well be out of date in my limited knowledge of the law, of course.
