On reflection, I'm not sure I could bring myself to wear one... I'll just have to save up for the real thing, 1967 for me...
I think the last one I saw, that caught my eye, was less than two grand but a 1966... I bought a 1970 Les Paul Custom instead... 😋

I wouldn't wait too long. The prices just seem to rise. I had no luck finding an early 80s one and the later ones in VGC seemed to come up for almost £10k. So I've given up for the near future.
