Probably not a bad idea. Or you could use tubs.
That would require a whole different set of wheels though. This way I can roll on GP4000s ii over the summer and switch to tissue-paper tyres for the end of the season.
Or you could use tubs. If you don't have a special set of wheels just for going uphill then you're really not trying.
