Got to the end of my rope with the spine shattering ride in my brick.
Replaced strut top rubbers (volvo use separate bearing and spring seat/rubber mount) and sub frame bushs. Neither looked bad, weren't torn or even really that old 2-4years old genuine parts. Several garages including the dealer have looked at it for the source of epic tracking and tyre wear problems, including volvo, twice in the last year. None suggested ir even would allow wear on these parts to be a factor, but they obviously were.
Fuck me, what a difference. Spent the trip to the mot garage hitting as many rough patches of road to marvel at how my spine was not being compacted.
So there you go, I'm not mental, there was something wrong with it!
