Shimano MT66 wheels with "2bliss" Specialized Purgatory Control 2.3" tyres (rear has a very slow leak (goes from 20psi to flat in about a week) which I'm sure is curable with a little work, but has never presented me with any problems. Tyres have about 200km, wheels about 800km. Decals removed, though there's still a bit of stubborn glue which could be removed easily enough. £80. SOLD

  • Are you willing to post? If so I'll take the Conti CycloX Kings please.

  • Rather avoid a trip to the post office if possible. sorry!

  • What were the Rocket Rons like? Get to use them in anger?

  • Never used them in proper mud.

I had trouble getting the bead to seat with my wheels, then bought the Vittoria XLs (which excelled in late season filth and weren't too much of a pain to seat).

  • They the tubeless version?

  • Vittoria or Schwalbe? Neither.

Few issues with burping the Vittorias on roots at the Team Championships so I might investigate proper tubeless offerings over the summer. Finished the race but had to focus on riding smoothly rather than speedily.

I've always found Schwalbe's non-tubeless cross options to be a bit baggy around the rim to work tubeless.

  • The cheap Vittorias seem really supple run tubeless though.

I'd be surprised if the new tubeless tubulars don't take off. I'd been riding around 25-30 psi tubeless (on a £20 tyre) and it felt equivalent to around 20 psi in a tub.

  • The tubeless rockets are £50 from Wiggle. £50!

  • I'm sure manufacturers are relishing the fact they can essentially make a tyre worse and charge more for it at the same time.

Anyway, back to the topic, if anyone wants all the cross tyres I'd take £30 for the lot.

  • If they're still available and you can post I'll take all the folding bead tyres off your hands.

  • Top seller. Thank you for the wheels.

  • if continental or schwalbe (assuming 700) still available, can come pick up tomorrow evening or coming days? will also PM
