10 miles on Saturday with my girlfriend who is training for Reading Half was a good LSD run for me. Training plan demanded 13 miles but I had a busy weekend and didn't really have time for more. I had wanted to run part of the Bath Half route seeing as we were in Bath and all, but that got vetoed "it's such a boring route". Fair point. So we ended up doing a few miles of up and down through fields that are literally on the in-law's doorstep and yet neither of us had been through before and then dropped onto the canal for the final 6 or so miles. Finished up back in town for pastries. Very pleasant!
The weather today is great so I ignored the training plan again (supposed to be cross training) and headed out into the sun. A steady 10k later and I'm back in the office (boo) but it was nice while it lasted :)
