I'm selling a 56cm Cross-Check f&f, its wheels and downtube shifters. This is what the build looked like (photos is 2 years old):

I've recently been using it with fat tyres and riser bars for green lanes in the Peaks, so I have replaced it with a 29er hardtail and swapped most of the bits over, leaving a few bits for sale:

Cross-Check f&f

• 56cm
  
• Fork has 20cm steerer length
  
• Frame number M5020480 = made in 2005
  
• All eyelets / bosses are threaded OK and working
  
• Fork does not have the mid-blade eyelets... too old
  
• Includes Ritchey comp headset, seatclamp, starnut, topcap
  
• I can remove the headset if you prefer (no change in price - have previously tried to freecycle this headset!)
  
• Small ding in seat tube
  
• Rub patch on one chainstay
  
• Paint is generally quite tired
  
• No decals, but it does have the head tube badge
  
  

I bought it in 2012 for £125 off ebay and spent £75 at Armourtex on a gloss-black powder coat. Asking £130. Now sold.

I bought these from Rose Bikes as touring/trekking wheels. They are a bit off-true, but were still running OK with v-brakes.

I live in Sheffield and once a week drive down the A1 to Cambridge for a couple of days work.
