Weather forcast was dry and sunny for Saturday.
Still well below zero in the Mountains. But in theory the roads should still be dry and ice free.
Headed out early, on only a single cup of coffee. Mistake. Having swaped my crank spider I was dropping my Chain all over the Place. Then my Chain chewed up my chainstay protector which then decided to jam my cranks. Did a quick fix and continued to the Ferry port.
Went to remove my helmet at the Ferry and it wasnt there. Bloody left it in the Kitchen. Not great for descending Mountains at temps where any water on the road will be solid ice.
Anyway. The weather was awesome. Tried to hit a brutal climb from the town at the other end of the ferry ride. 2/3s up it was unrideable. So I cruised up to the ski resort 25km up the valley. Did a couple Climbs, ate loads of cakes, and cruised home.
First ride outdoors on the roadie this year (well in Norway at least). Gotta say I like it.
