I decided to put some 2010 11 speed carbon Athena UT cranks onto my Look KG241 to upgrade the 10 speed Veloce PT cranks. I retained the Veloce chainrings. Upon installation, the inner chainring was fouling on the chainstay so the BB was spaced out using a washer on driveside. Now the cranks won't tighten properly and come loose. What's a guy to do?
You've changed the cups? UT and PT use different ones.
You can't space the cups in the same way as with a square taper BB: the UT axle is a fixed length and there is no scope for shifting it to one side or the other.
