The mid points of the saddle rail clamps are coplanar (±a few mm) with the axis of the shaft.
what exactly is a layback post?
One with the mid points of the saddle rail clamps far enough aft of the shaft axis to make it worth noting, maybe as little as 5mm but commonly 15-25mm, although more is not unheard of.
I thought I knew the answer to this, but just to be sure can someone clarify what defines an inline seat post please? Conversely what exactly is a layback post? Thanks muchly...
