Everything starts somewhere. One person names a thing, others start naming a thing. The thing is named.
I didn't start the sheriff nickname, I've just continued its usage. If my use of it and alternatives is sand in the vaginas of you @furious_tiles, @>>>>>> and others then even more reason to keep using it.
Nickname haters gonna hate, unless of course they get to coin the nickname which moves into common usage..
