I think his point was, like the pigs in Animal farm, your violent attitude towards those you disagree with makes you just the same as them.

that is atrocious but something like 1 in 3 black males born today in the US are likely to be incarcerated in their lifetime. with the 3 strikes rule a lot of them for crimes that could be considered a misdemeanour carrying a life sentence with forced [essentially unpaid] labour to prop up the US manufacturing industry. is a bit rich of America to be outraged about this too much.
